This is an ikebana-style arrangement of a deep plum-purple chrysanthemum surrounded by dogwood branches. The beads are translucent matte glass that absorb the light and give a soft texture. The chrysanthemum is made from 6 different beads, some with metallic bronze lining, that give it a depth. It is permanently fixed in a vintage Hull planter. The blossoms are true to life size. The planter is 7" across.
